Principles of Communication (continues...)
Communication is dynamic. Communication is not static in the process; it is always changing from time to time. Communication is directly proportional to the peoples’ behavior. Understandably, as behavior changes communication also changes constantly. In this New Silent Generation or Generation Z, technology trends make the communication a dynamic. The most common is interchanging or revising the words. It is used by many people especially by the millennials. For instance, the words werpa, lodi and petmalu are derived from the word “power, idol and malupit” and now they are using it in their daily communication. To become an effective communicator, one must be versatile in the sense that he/she can divert himself/herself or can go or blend with this generation.
Communication is systemic. There is no communication without those elements of communication. Each of the elements has its own function and it works interdependently to make communication successful. To avoid miscommunication, there must be coordination and understanding to one another, hence effective communication can be achieved.
Whatever principles we may use, in the end, it is us (ourselves) who would make communication effective.
